Cold-email deliverability checklist

Before you send
- Bounce rate on this list is verified under 2% (not vendor-claimed — actually checked).
- Every address can be traced to a real source, not a name-plus-domain guess.
- SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records pass for your sending domain.
- A new sending domain has been warmed for at least two weeks.
List hygiene
- Role addresses (info@, sales@) are separated from personal mailboxes.
- Known spam traps and catch-all domains are excluded or flagged.
- Duplicates and previously-bounced addresses are removed.
- Rows with unconfirmable emails are labeled, not guessed into the send.
While sending
- Daily volume per mailbox stays within provider-safe limits.
- Bounce rate is monitored per batch — sending pauses above 3%.
- Replies and complaints are tracked and acted on quickly.
- Unsubscribes are honored immediately and permanently.
